In case you missed it, there was a great piece on the BBC’s The One Show this week to celebrate World Diabetes Day.  Dom Littlewood was sent out to find out more about the new closed loop system that is revolutionising the lives of people who have type 1 diabetes.  You can stream it on the BBC iPlayer and here’s the link: bbc.in/2YL6J9p  it starts at around 4mins 39secs.

We know that there are still inequalities of access to these technologies however NHS England and Wales are working hard to resolve these.
