Make a Difference Locally
Making a Difference Locally is a charity that has been established to support local communities. The communities supported are those which are served by local independently-owned convenience stores that are members of Nisa, a buying organisation. The charity helps Nisa stores raise money that can then be donated to local charities and good causes. This is done through the sale of certain products in store, including all of Nisa’s own-label Heritage range. Nisa saw the potential in DigiBete early on and have been a wonderful support for our innovation.

Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company with 90 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care and a leading company in driving change for people living with diabetes and other serious chronic conditions. Novo Nordisk generously provided a grant to us for the digitalisation of their ‘Goals of Diabetes’ curriculum, an important part of our content.

Leeds Cares supports Leeds Teaching Hospitals to provide exceptional healthcare. Our vision is the best possible health and wellbeing for everyone in Leeds, across Yorkshire and beyond. Leeds Cares was formerly known as Leeds Hospital Charitable Foundation and re-launched with its current identity in May 2018. They also give support and campaign for people with Type 1 diabetes DigiBete has worked closely with Breakthrough T1D attending and filming events.
