Research Opportunity for 18-24 year olds.

Hi,

There’s a great opportunity if you’re aged between 18 and 24…

…Diabetes UK and researchers from Cardiff University would like to talk to you about how researchers measure the effect of type 1 diabetes on school and education.

The chat will be online with 4 to 6 other people in your age group, and you will be paid £50 for your time. Once you’ve signed up, you can still choose to not take part at any time.

Having type 1 diabetes could affect a young person’s education outcomes (grades, absences and whether they go to university) and, also, the school you go to might make it harder or easier for you to manage your diabetes.

To help understand more about how diabetes and education effect each other, researchers need to look at both health and education data, researchers would like to know how you feel about this.
