We’d like to introduce you to our Families & Friends page.  It’s crammed full of useful resources to help family, friends and extended family understand more about what it is like to live with, and manage type 1 diabetes.

You’ll find essential guides, instructional films, yummy carb-counted recipes to try out, guides on how to manage sick days, tips and tricks from mums and dads and real-life stories from people living with T1D.  It’s a great page to signpost too : )

We’ve included a film about Alice and Holly.  Alice has Type 1 Diabetes and Holly is her Medical Alert Assistance Dog. They are inseparable friends with an incredible story.
