Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under UK law which cannot be excluded.

This website is operated by DigiBete (“we”, “us”, “our”).
DigiBete is a digital health organisation providing information, education, and resources to support children and young people living with diabetes, as well as their families, carers, healthcare professionals, educators, and supporters.
The website is intended to support understanding and self-management of diabetes, alongside — and not instead of — professional healthcare.

2. Who the Website is For

The website may be used by:

· Parents and carers
· Healthcare professionals
· Educators and supporters
Some content is specifically designed for children and young people. DigiBete operates in line with its Safeguarding & Child Protection and Online/Digital Safeguarding policies.

Children and young people should use the website with the knowledge and, where appropriate, the supervision of a parent, carer, or responsible adult.
 
3. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, you must not use the website.

4. Purpose of the Website – Medical Disclaimer

Content on this website:

All content is developed and reviewed under DigiBete’s Clinical Governance and Content Review & Quality Assurance framework. However, individual circumstances differ, and information may not be appropriate for every user.

Nothing on this website creates a clinician–patient relationship or duty of care.
We do not accept responsibility for decisions made based on website content.

  • We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or part of the website without notice.

You must:

· Not post or share harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
· Not attempt to contact children or young people inappropriately
· Not misuse interactive features (if available)

DigiBete may remove content or restrict access where use raises safeguarding, safety, or wellbeing concerns, in line with safeguarding policies.

We may report safeguarding concerns to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

You agree to use the website lawfully and appropriately.
You must not:

All use must align with DigiBete’s IT Acceptable Use principles.
App users must also comply with DigiBete App Terms of Use.
