Pump data is automatically uploaded to the new cloud-based Tandem Source platform every hour. Just link your personal Tandem Source account to your clinic and your data is automatically shared. Control-IQ technology is at the heart of the t:slim X2 insulin pump. By predicting glucose levels 30 minutes ahead, insulin doses are automatically adjusted every 5 minutes.
It works quickly to support your life and current activities, through ever changing routines, needs and schedules. When extra insulin is needed, the AutoBolus function kicks in to bring glucose levels back into range.

The t:slim X2 is the only advanced hybrid closed loop insulin pump with 6 personal profiles, sleep and exercise activities and custom alerts to create a therapy profile unique to you.
- Personal profiles cover of the busy school days, sports activities and the chilled weekends.
- Better nights, better days with sleep activity. Optimise overnight glucose control when you’re not eating with automatic insulin delivery at a lower and tighter range of 6.25-6.7mmol/L.
- Exercise activity designed to reduce hypoglycaemia risk and improve glucose control at a tight range of 7.8-8.9 mmol/L and stop insulin more aggressively at 4.4mmol/L.

Finding the right infusion set is integral to insulin therapy and getting the best from your pump. You have so much choice with the t:slim X2 insulin pump, allowing you to find one that works for your body.
AutoSoft™ 90
The AutoSoft™ 90 infusion set is our most popular all-in-one infusion set. The 90-degree soft cannula comes pre-loaded in an automatic spring inserter, so one-handed insertions are quick and easy, even in hard-to-reach areas.
AutoSoft™ 30
The AutoSoft™ 30 infusion set is an all-in-one, angled infusion set with a disposable integrated insertion device. The inserter ensures a 30-degree angle with each insertion and the reversible connector makes reconnecting fast.
VariSoft™
The VariSoft™ infusion set is easy to insert, has a discrete, low profile, and convenient at-site disconnection. It allows users to choose their most comfortable insertion angle (20 to 45 degrees). Patients who are lean and active often prefer this set.
TruSteel™
The TruSteel™ infusion set features a very fine, 29-gauge, 90-degree stainless steel needle for those who prefer the reliability of steel sets but do not want to compromise on comfort. With its additional adhesive pad, it provides extra security against needle dislodging. The set's simplicity and security make it a good choice for those who have reactions to plastic cannulas, and those with a history of bent cannulas.

Meet Méabh
9 year old Méabh was so pleased to get her new Tandem t:slim X2 insulin pump, she drew a picture about it to say thank you to Jess Charlton, the Diabetes Training and Education Specialist who hosted her onboarding.
The positive difference Control-IQ technology has made to her life means she’s now ready to take on the adventure of a lifetime with her family. First stop is India and then South America before ending up in Alaska in June 2026. Throughout her trip she will be home educated by her family with full support of her school back home. She’s also in regular touch with her diabetes clinic through regular virtual appointments. Go Méabh!

Onboarding
At Air Liquide Healthcare, we understand that diabetes is different for everyone. We also recognise that everyone has their own learning styles, and patients may have a personal preference for how they would like to receive insulin pump training with us.
We offer virtual or face to face training in individual or group settings and also a range of additional online training modules for all users to complete alongside training with our specialists.
