Diabetes UK

Diabetes UK is the UK’s largest diabetes charity, providing support, awareness, and campaigning for people living with all types of diabetes. It serves both the public and healthcare professionals with information and resources.

Together Type 1

Together Type 1 is a peer-supported community programme (led by Diabetes UK) designed for young people aged 11–25 living with type 1 diabetes. It fosters connection, confidence, and resilience through in-person and online support.

National CYP Diabetes Networks

This network consists of 11 regional NHS teams working to standardize and improve type 1 diabetes care for children and young people. It focuses on sharing best practices, data collection, training, and quality assurance.

NPDA

The NPDA collects information on the care and diabetes outcomes of all children and young people receiving care from paediatric diabetes teams in England, Wales and Jersey and reports an annual core dataset.

NHS Scotland is the publicly–funded healthcare system in Scotland and one of the four systems that make up the National Health Service in the United Kingdom.

NIHR HealthTech Research Paediatrics and children

The NIHR HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) in Paediatrics and Child Health is one of the 14 HRCs, funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). The HRCs work with patients, businesses, universities, and NHS Trusts to support the development of medical devices, diagnostics, and digital technologies.
