News flash!
100 years ago on the 11th January 1922 the first dose of life saving Insulin was administered to a 14 year old boy called Leonard Thompson and life from then on was changed for so many of us – thank goodness!

For all those teen and young adult comic lovers out there, Revolve Comics have been working with diabetes specialists including Professor Partha Kar (National Speciality Advisor, Diabetes with NHS England) to create a comic series based on living with Type 1 Diabetes.
The great news is that there’s a new edition ‘Type 1 Generations’ marking 100 years of Insulin.
