Take Part In Our Video Selfie Challenge

Hi,

We are looking to do an online event in early July, and we’d like to make a montage film of people sharing their thoughts on what it’s like living with type 1 diabetes which would be no longer than 2 minutes.

It would be great to hear all voices and all age ranges from our type 1 community and we’re particularly keen to hear what young people are feeling.

We’d love it if you could film on your phone your answer to one, two or all four of the following questions as a video selfie and send it to us at hello@digibete.org and use the subject “Video Selfie Challenge”:

1. What would you like your friends to know about type 1 and how can they help you?
2. What would you like your diabetes team to know? How would you like them to talk to you about type 1?
3. Technology and Me – What’s your relationship with your diabetes technology? Are you friends or do you sometimes fall out and how easy was it to get access to tech?
4. How do you find the DigiBete App helps with managing your diabetes and how could it be improved?
