We wanted to let you know, if you didn't already know, that Levemir (insulin detemir) will be no longer be prescribed from the end of November this year.
If this affects you or your child then please talk to your or your child's GP and diabetes healthcare team about changing the prescription as soon as possible.
Levemir is still safe to use but has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Stocks are due to run out by December 2026.
