Dr. Fiona Campbell has been awarded an OBE

We wanted to share some wonderful news on this Jubilee weekend as our very own clinical lead, Dr. Fiona Campbell has been awarded an OBE from the Queens Birthday Honours; so richly deserved for all her work to improve the lives of children & young people living with diabetes:  thegazette.co.uk/notice/4084144

Fiona has spent 30 years working tirelessly to improve the lives of children, young people and their families living with Type 1 Diabetes.  She is a practicing consultant for diabetes and has also created a whole national CYP network to improve care and has supported DigiBete to create a digital out-of-hours service to support families at home.  All of this has been voluntary time alongside her full time job.
