National CYP Diabetes Network
The National CYP Diabetes Network to share good practice and maintain high quality standards. Working in conjunction with the Department of Health, the National CYP Diabetes Network has recognised the need to develop a five-year National Paediatric Diabetes Service Improvement Delivery Plan to help improve outcomes and the quality and safety of care.

As the leading global type 1 diabetes charity, we work every day to help people live better with the condition, prevent people ever developing it and one day, find cures. We do this by funding research, campaigning for access to all treatments and connecting and supporting the type 1 community.
Association of Children’s Diabetes Clinicians (ACDC)
Welcome to the website of the Association of Children’s Diabetes Clinicians (ACDC). We are a group of doctors involved in the care of children and young people with diabetes across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Association was set up to share good practice, to discuss clinical management and the organisation of diabetes services and develop national guidelines.
Diabetics With Eating Disorders
DWED is the only charity that at present advocates for and represents those suffering from type 1 diabetes and eating disorders in the United Kingdom. For many years our volunteers have battled to gain more recognition for ED-DMT1 [an umbrella term that covers any kind of disordered eating alongside Type 1 Diabetes) and Diabulimia (deliberate insulin omission, which can be a behaviour commonly found in sufferers of ED-DMT1) and for DWED as an organisation. Slowly and surely more people are becoming aware.
Children with Diabetes
Their are a range of facebook groups available to offer peer support to all families of children and young people with type 1 diabetes. UK CWD AG are a patient led, not for profit organisation, who work with other Diabetes organisations such as Diabetes UK, JDRF, DRWF. they aim to raise awareness of the issues regarding all aspects of T1D.
