Our commitment to accessibility
DigiBete is committed to ensuring that our app, website, and digital health resources are accessible to as many people as possible. This includes children, young people, families, and healthcare professionals with a wide range of access needs and disabilities.
We strive to provide an inclusive experience by following recognised best practice and working in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, as required under the UK Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Accessibility is embedded throughout our design, development, and content creation processes, and we are committed to continuous improvement. All our structured learning, self-management education and essential films meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards, with some supplementary films currently undergoing accessibility improvements.
