Six New T1D Research Projects Launch Today!

We’d like to share the amazing news that there are six new type 1 diabetes research projects launching today!

Funded through the Type 1 Diabetes Grand Challenge, the research will accelerate the development of novel insulins.

Four of the #research projects will accelerate the development of insulins that react to changing glucose levels

One study will create an ultrafast insulin that will bring us closer to fully closed-loop systems that don’t need input from the user

Another project will combine insulin and glucagon into one molecule to combat hypos

All six new research projects have the potential to transform life with type 1 diabetes by keeping blood glucose levels more stable and reducing the mental burden of managing T1D.
